Are You in Reaction or Response?

How do your emotions impacts your Business Results?

Rather than waiting until emotions hit you over the head like a sledge hammer before you deal with them, its really beneficial to be aware of what's happening to your mental, emotional state throughout your day.  Then you can maintain a positive emotional balance and can respond effectively to situations that occur, instead of being 'in reaction' and creating an ambulance at the bottom of the cliff scenario.

By taking charge of how you're 'being' you're more able to define the areas where you can make the biggest impact, because you're calm, relaxed and centered so can be more focused and effective when stressful situations arise

I encourage all my executive clients to develop their own 'Personal Power Format' including regular 'Check-Ins'
to integrate into the natural stop points during the day. As the simple act of 'Checking-In' with yourself allows you to monitor your progress and lowers the chance of negative emotions and overwhelm throwing you off course at inopportune moments.

As a leader its imperative to implement strategic actions, alongside developing your own leadership presence.  By creating an alignment between your logical, emotional and body language aspects, you can not only  positively influence others, but you're far more capable of developing and maintaining greater balance and deepening your satisfaction levels.  After years of working in this field I've seen the powerful impact this personal inner, outer integration can have to create a new generation of business leader where quality of life and human connection is as much an integrated part of their leadership, as bottom line $ results.

I've witnessed over and over again how this level of collaboration transforms people's lives to increase their results in really powerful and often unexpected ways.

It helps executives quickly develop a solid, yet flexible emotionally intelligent foundation. They become far more influential during  interactions, so they make an impact in their leadership of others to really make a difference where it counts.

Checking in enables you to recognise what you're thinking and feeling in the moment, so you're aware where you're at mentally, emotionally and physically. Then you're in a position to be able to release any negative charge or emotional build-up as you go. Ensuring you're mentally focused in the direction you want to head, rather experiencing an energy drain, or energy building up, only to burst out when you least expect or want it too.  Checking in with yourself helps you to become fully present so you can maintain your course with clarity and focus, can capitalise on opportunities, and take appropriate actions to get the best outcomes.

We use a powerful collaborative format in our 'Be Bold on Purpose' coaching, training and the Mastery program.  Which helps you deepen your sense of connection, elevate your impact and resilience to ensure you create a strong, stable platform to leverage your presence to influence and enhance success ratios.

So c
hoose to set up regular 'Check-In' during your day so you can Press Pause to take a moment so you can assess and redirect your focus where necessary during the day.  Then you can really take charge and positively impact all your outcomes. Rather than leaving it until you experience unwanted fight or flight reactions, rather than being in response to life....

Why not take charge of your response from the onset?
